Beams or different other elements being assimilated to beams, are parts of mechanical structures belonging to different elements in the mechanical engineering. Study of composite beams represent a complex problem. Taking into account the original method established by Daniek Gay [2], a monodimensional aproach was described, using the homogenized formulation for flection, analogue tot hat utilised for classical hemogenous beams. Some hypotesis are taken into account for this study: the composite beams with geometrical characteristics and material constants in the cross-section of beams, having components, denominated phases with limited boundaries and which are supposed perfectly sticked one to another. The phases are considered isotrope.

After processing of complex non-ferrous ores, belonging to Baita-Bihor deposits, a few concentrates are obtained, aut of which molybden concentrate and nickel oxide.

The molybdenum concentrate contains molybdenum sulphide as basic component.

The paper present tests results of two concentrates utilisation during the steelmaking process, and their influence on steel alloying.

The apparent vapour pressure of Sb 2S 3in the FeS-Sb 2S 3binary system al 1050 0C was experimentally measured using the transportation method. The activity of Sb 2S 3in the FeS-Sb 2S 3binary system at 1050 0C was derived starting

The liquidus line in the FeS-Sb 2S 3binary system was experimentally obtained using the differential thermal analysis (DTA) and transportation methods. The data were used for a thermodynamic study of the phase diagram of the FeS-Sb 2S 3binary system and the activity of Sb 2S 3in the FeS-Sb 2S 3system.

L. Gheorghies: Electrochemicalsynthesis ofzirconiumtitanatepowder

Zirconium titanate ceramic powder was prepared by an electrochemical synthesis from an aqueous solution base don a water-soluble precursor. X-ray diffraction (XRD) studiesshowed an amorphous initial formed material. The effects of progressive treatment were determined by differential thermal analysis (DTA), termogravimetric analysis (TG), X-ray diffraction, XRD, and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The removal of physically and chemically bonded water was observed after about 100 0C. crystallization of zirconium titanate occurs at low temperature ( ~ 600 0C), giving rise to spherical regular particles (diameter of ~ 1,8 m m).

There are presented, in the paper the results of some researches concerning an alloy of aluminium-copper-magnesium, influenced by the heat hardening treatings, respecively, of the technological parameters of those regarding the mechanical properties and the machinability of boring.

The structure and mechanical properties of dual-phase steels that are obtain through quenching from intercritical temperature range depend on the chemical composition of material technological parameters of intercritical quenching.

In this paper, the authors show the structure and mechanical properties (R m, R p0,2, A 5, Z, KCU) of dual-phase steel with 0,09%C and 1,90%Mn, that was obtain through intercritical quenching in oil in magnetic field and (for comparison) in oil.
