Ana-Maria Lazăr, Chaumont D., Courty C. Josse, Mesnier M., Lacroute Y., Gomez M. E., Zambrano G., Sacilotti M.: TiO2 micro and nanostructures growth by MOCVD process

Metalurgia International (vol. XII), no.2, 2007, p. 5

We present in this poster the preliminary results of the TiO2 nanostructures growth on the silicium substratum. We have utilized two different methods: VLS/ MOCVD method and MOCVD in the catalyst presence. In the case of VLS/ MOCVD method, the growth is catalyzed by metallic clusters layer or metallic oxides. In the case of MOCVD method, the catalyst is the ferrocene Fe(C5H5)2. The precursor for the TiO2 obtaining is the titan isopropoxide Ti(OC3H7)4.

Metalurgia International (vol. XII), no.2, 2007, p. 11

This paper aims to introduce the mathematic model used on the development of a self-evaluation system of the research potential of units belonging to Romanian research area.   The development of this concept forms the main stream activities of a project called “CAPABIL=>FP7” , funded by the Romanian Research Program CEEX 2005, third module.

Agop Maricel, VIZUREANU Petrică, M. Vasilica, Abacioaie D.: Hydrodynamic model of scale relativity theory for nanomaterials (I)

Metalurgia International (vol. XII), no.2, 2007, p. 18

The hydrodynamic model of the scale relativity

theory in the topological dimension D=2 is built. The generalized Schrödinger equation results as an irrotational movement of Navier-Stokes type fluids having an imaginary viscosity coefficient and  simultaneously becomes wave-function and complex speed potential. Some abilities of the model on the wave-particle duality, tunneling effect and plasmoids genesis by laser ablation  are analyzed.

Ciobanu Ioan, Monescu Vlad, Mașniță Mihai: Research regarding the influence of the castings walls thickness over the solidification time

Metalurgia International (vol. XII), no.2, 2007, p. 31

It is presented the results of a research regarding the influence of the castings thickness over the castings solidification. The research was made by computer simulation of the solidification of a plates from grey cast iron with walls thickness between a = 6mm and a = 50mm. It was studied the influence of the castings thickness over the solidification time and over the temperature field from the casting and from the mould. It was verified the square root law. It was compared the results regarding the influence of the castings thickness over the solidification time obtained by computer simulation with those obtained by analytical calculation.

Lepădatu V. Gheorghe: Some considerations regarding the public debt service at the end of September 2006 service

Metalurgia International (vol. XII), no.2, 2007, p. 42

Comparative statistical data regarding the current account of payment balance, during the period 1st  of January 2006 – 30th of September 2006,  as compared to the similar period of 2005. results indicate a positive trend during the year 2006.
