effluent in a metallurgical furnace Metalurgia (58) 2006, nr. 11, p. 5 This document explains the
control of PG-250 S, a portable gas analyzer, by means of virtual instrumentation. With
LabVIEW, an industry-leading software tool for designing test, measurement,
and control systems , we designed one virtual user
interface on the computer screen through which we could monitor, saved data
and control alarms provided by PG-250 S. The software interface has
control screens: the port control screen, the acquisition control screen, the
save control screen and the measuring screen. In future we shall develop a
virtual instrument for remote control and monitoring diferent tools (including the PG 250
S gas analyzer) as an instrument in

obtained by analytical calculation and by computer solidification simulation Metalurgia (58) 2006,
nr. 11, p. 21 Starting from the Stephan –
Schwartz temperature field ecuation from the mould it was establish two new
analytical relation for calculation of the solidification time and the
solidification parameter (constant) of the castings dependent on
thermophysical characteristics of the alloy, mould and pouring conditions. We
checked the validity of the analytical relation by comparing the results
determined with it, with results determined by computer solidification
simulation for a casting (plate) with a = 20mm thickness, poured from
eutectic grey cast iron. It is analyzed the influence of the pouring
temperature over the solidification time and the solidification parameter

paper, I have identified the steps
necessary for the |
investigation optimum variant
selection by the means of the operational research method, namely the linear
programming. The mathematical modelling of these investment problem offers
the possibility to determine the optimum solutions for the economic

regarding the improvement of corrosion resistance of TiNi alloy with 50,6% at
Ni. Application in medical engineering Metalurgia (58) 2006,
nr. 11, p. 36 For development of
criterial prothesis and other types of implants, the authors studied the
method of controlled chemical corrosion for improvement of corrosion
resistance of TiNi alloys (50,6% at Ni) with shape
memory, utilised in medical engineering. Taking into account the
cancerigenic, alergogen and toxic character of Ni, a trating method of
implant surfaces is required to be established in order to reduce the risc of
Ni atoms transfer from the implant in the human body. The authors succeeded
to establish the optimal conditions for improvement of corrosion resistance.
The surfaces were analyzed by atomic force microscopy and optical

nr. 11, p. 49 This work presents some synthetic aspects bounded from C.V.D. It makes
a classification of principle categories of C.V.D. and of the coves of the
chemical reactions which are utilised of the C.V.D. proceedings. It presents
synthetically in a table the metals and the chemical compounds which are
formed through C.V.D. and the temperature for these. It makes observations
concerning of the chemical reactions which are presented, of their conditions
and of the products which are resulted from C.V.D. |
