walls thickness over the solidification time Metalurgia (58) 2006, nr. 12, p. 24 It is presented the results
of a research regarding the influence of the castings thickness over the
castings solidification. The research was made by computer simulation of the
solidification of a plates from grey cast iron with walls thickness between a
= 6mm and a = 50mm. It was studied the influence of the castings thickness
over the solidification time and over the temperature field from the casting
and from the mould. It was verified the square-root law. It was compared the
results regarding the influence of the castings thickness over the
solidification time obtained by computer simulation with those obtained by
analytical calculation. |

analysis of the steel test tube tensile test in order to determine the usual
mechanical characteristics assisted by the computer. This finite element

industry, utilizing a model for financial efficiency evaluation Metalurgia (58) 2006,
nr. 12, p. 37 In this paper, we have to emphasize that increasing
the efficiency of the managerial work system and of management activities is
an important process. The financial factor is most important in the
improvement of economic agents performance. Often
enough, the efficient use of financial resources has not been considered as a
major problem in Romanian companies; therefore, in our opinion, management
improvement cannot occur without proper assessment tools for the evaluation
of financial resources use, central among these being the "financial
chart". Based on certain efficiency follow-up indices, the financial
chart is a comprehensive report about the financial factor, which helps the
manager to know the financial processes in companies, and the foundations of

layers which are obtained through chemical vapour deposition (C.V.D) and so

presenting the principle of a C.V.D. - covering installation, the principle
coves of the thin, extrahard layers which are used to the covered of the
changeable cutting - tips made of sintered carbide. This paper presents
the advantages and drawbacks of the C.V.D. process and one area of its
