D.C.: 574; 669. Paul Tudor, Avram Nicolae: Scrap – metallic waste or raw material Metalurgia
(56) 2004, nr.11, p.5 The increasing
importance of scrap on a restrictive market induces a very important question: how should be scrap
considered? As a raw
material or recyclable by-product?
The authors try to demonstrate scrap must be considerat as raw material, which represents a reason to important quality modifications in the areas of collecting, distribution and utilisation of this material. D.C.: 539.374 Doina Răducanu, Lucia Angelescu, Ion Cincă, Dănuţ Cojocaru: Plastic Deformation Behaviour
of Commercially Titanium used for Dental Implants. Part II. Cold plastic deformation Metalurgia (56) 2004, nr.11, p.10 In
previous part of this article, effects of hot plastic deformation on elastic
component of commercially titanium were presented. This time, the researches
are focused on the effects of cold plastic deformation on elastic component. The experiments are based on
the micromechanics behaviour when a rigid indentor penetrates a flat surface
of a material which has the ability to deform elastic or plastic. The
deformation was performed by micromechanical testing, using an indentation
device which can work with spherical indentors. Data about the penetration
depth can be used to express the quantum of elastic deformation. D.C.: 669.58; Tamara Radu, Olga Mitoşeriu, Maria Popescu: Zn and Zn alloys
coating
chromatizing
and phosphatizing Metalurgia (56) 2004, nr.11, p.16 The researches were focused on the
identification of some passivation procedures aimed at increasing
corrosion resistance of coatings of the zinc-iron alloys obtained by diffusion white improving their aspect as well. The experiments lead to three
optimal solutions of passivation
for zinc-iron alloys coatings with 7-15%Fe. D.C.: 539.374 Keywords: rheology, structure, viscosity, semi-solid Adriana Neag, Monica Sas-Boca: Aspects of Semi-Solid Deformations Metalurgia (56) 2004, nr.11, p.22 Growing demands in recent years, for near-net-shape manufacture and increasing production within the automotive
industry, improved part quality, reduced |
tolerances and higher production
output are gaining more importance
within the “forming industry”. D.C.:
669.2/.8.018; 669.295 Keywords: superplasticity, grain refinement, strain rate sensitivity, strain rate, alpha-beta titanium alloys, fully beta titanium alloys Ana-
Luciana Rus: Superplasticity of titanium alloys Metalurgia (56) 2004, nr.11, p.26 Titanium
alloys were among the first commercial alloys to be recognized as having an
interesting degree of superplasticity. Many commercial titanium alloys are
designed to have a two-phase alpha-beta microstructure, t give the desired
combination of mechanical properties, and it is precisely this two-phase
microstructure that frequently led to a fine stable grain size in some of the
first superplastic alloys to be studied. The commercial availability of
superplastic titanium alloys, without the aid of special processing, has led
to the early application of these materials in aerospace structures. The
paper reviews briefly the titanium alloys, the superplastic properties of
these and the methods for grain refinement. D.C.: 621.785.6 Roxana Nedelcu: Aspects regarding optimization
of technological
parameters
for laser radiation quenching Metalurgia (56) 2004, nr.11, p.32 The main results presented in the paper concerning the interaction process studies for carbon steel laser hardening. The basic characteristic of laser radiation action on surfaces consist in local nature of temperature source that allow
a hard thermal duty, high speed of heating and cooling.
Due to diversity and complexity of the processes involved in the effect of laser radiation, its results are not strictly determined by the parameters
having the most straight-tha type of target material and irradiation regime. D.C.:

it is described
the methodology of obtaining the semiconductor materials by modifying the germanium crystal structure. We started from
the presumption that in the semiconductor the electrons could stay only
in certain allowed areas, separated by interdicted areas, and because
for the conduction phenomenon the only interesting areas are the high energy, allowed once. |
