in the frame of sustainable development parameters
improvement
Metalurgia
(56) 2004, nr.8, p.16
The dialectic approach of echology in the industrial environment (main
component of sustainable development model) shows that the major preoccupation must be
located not in the post-pollution area (where the secondary materials
recycling is recommended), but in the prevention area of these processes.
To put into operation such idea, it is required to:
§
intensify the scientific efforts to
support the theory and practics of
pollutant emissions generation (including for recyclable secondary
materials);
§
clarify the methodologies of echologic efficiency evaluation EEecol.
(echoefficiency) in order to apply the prevention measures, both
technical and technological, for industrial pollution.
The present work is dedicated to the second aspect, presented here above.

of Zn-Fe coated steel strips
Metalurgia
(56) 2004, nr.8, p.20
This paper shows some experimental researches to obtain
Zn-Fe alloy coatings focusings on the hot zinc plating, which feature
properties are compliance with the marchet requirements. In order to obtain
Zn-Fe alloy coatings,, zinc hot plated sample were heated up to 500-650 0C
in an electical furnace. This favoured the diffusion of Fe into the layer
until copplete disappearance of the pure zinc phase and the forming of Zn-Fe
alloys The compositions ,structure and proprietes zinc-fier coatings
are depending on the temperature and duration of the treatment. The
transformation in the layer begin from 530-5500Cat times longer
1-3 minutes, when zinc-flowers disappear while the color changes from
silver to opaque grey.

coated
Metalurgia
(56) 2004, nr.8, p.26
Over
recent years has been an increasing in extending the life of materials used
in aggressive operating condition by the application of surface coating. On
such coating technique is Chemical Vapour
Deposition (C.V.D.). This is a process whereby the surface properties of a
metal or non metal are altered by the generation of a layer with special
chemical and physical properties.

Co-FeTi
Metalurgia (56) 2004, nr.8, p.31
The composite of ferrotitan
particles in cobalt matrix is obtained by the electrochemical method with an
electrolyte of CoSO4, CoCl2
and H3BO3, on iron support. The ferrotitan
particles was included in cobalt matrix through strongly stir of electrolyte.
We have in view to obtain a densely material, without pores, adherent of
support and to find out the optimal parameters: the current density, the pH and
concentration of ferrotitan particles in the electrolyte. The composite
material was analyzed of macro and microscope, to establish the size
crystalline grains, the adherence of deposing on the support, the thickness
of the layer deposits and Vickers micro hardness with are dependent of the
current density which was applied during electrodepuse process.

for steel ingots with cold initial condition
Metalurgia
(56) 2004, nr.8, p.37
In this paper it is
presented the mathematical modelling of a heating system for steel ingots put
into furnace in cold condition. It is presented both the heat exchange in the
furnace precinct and the heat transfer inside the metal. At the same time, it
is designed in AUTOCOD the algorithm of achieving the C++ language
software for the heat exchange mathematically modelled. It is aimed to get a
closeness as high as possible between the imposed theoretical conditions and
the industrial experimental conditions. Sums of Bessel Fourier infinite
strings as well as Bi, Fo and r/R criteria relations are used.

In this article are presented the graphical methods of functional analising that can be applied in the product and industrial processes studying. The present method are presented with the purpose of the determine the design functions (main, complementary and constrains) and technical functions that allowed their building.
