Adrian Ioana, Nicolae Avram , D. Dumitrescu : Elements of environmental performance
Metalurgia International (vol.VIII), no.6, 2003,
p. 3
In this
paper are presented the main environmental performance indicators, which are
used in the specific international regulations.
The paper also
deals with the indicators functions, quality and basic categories of
environmental performance indicators.
The
originality of the paper lies in establishing the correlation: environment
environment performance indicators (EPI) organisation.

charge preheating
Metalurgia International (vol.VIII), no.6, 2003,
p. 10
The paper
begins with the theorys basis of the mathematical modelling
of the electric arc furnaces processes (EAFP). The most important criteria is the proceedings technical-economical efficiency.
The original
optimisation mathematical model of the electric arc furnaces charge
preheating process (CPM) mainly takes into consider 2
thermo-technological aspects: the heat transfer between fluids and particles
and the heat transfer between the fizz layer and an exchange surface.
According
the energetically balance at the gaseous environment level, the conductive
transfer model is also analysed through the
finished elements method.
The results
of the mathematical model are presented as the analysis and quantification of
the thermo gradients obtained during the charge preheating process. These
thermo gradients are determined for various temporal moments and for
different capacities of the electric arc furnace.

In this
paper we propose a classification of methods in postcombustion
field to obtain a systematic information in
specialty literature. We define a new relation for efficiency of postcombustion calculation. On substantiates the
theoretical existence of anticombustion. On show
the technical conditions of ultrasonic postcombustion
achievement.

materials for medical applications
Metalurgia International (vol.VIII), no.6, 2003,
p. 28
Molecular
organic nanostructures may offer a wide variety of applications in chemistry,
biochemistry, nanoelectronics and nanomedicine. These nanostrutuctures
are based on some
adducts, which involves intensive interactions between two
differently charged macrocycles, this interaction
being strong influenced by the nature of the metal from inside the macrocycle. Semiconductor nanocrystals
are proposed for this paper in order to achieve a better understanding and
control of the chemical and photochemical properties of hybrid nanocrystaline materials based on heterogeneous semiconductor-organic compound nanosized assemblies (phthalocyanines,
porphyrins, their chemical dimmers, dyes) in
solutions, films and on semiconductor surfaces, covalently or non-covalently
anchored by active groups to the semiconductor surface. Also, in this paper
will be evaluated the structure of the prepared nanocompounds
by means of different electronic microscopy techniques. These nanostructures have
possible application in photodynamic action in vitro on some in vitro and
in vivo culture cells systems.
We will
describe a mobile robot that can be generated with existing technology and
that can be used to destroy inamical tissue within
the human body that cannot be accessed by other means.

the interpolation curves

p. 37
The present
work deals with the theoretic support which lays at
the ground of creating the interpolation of various given points. The
algorithm used to draw the curves by interpolation permanently maintains
information regarding the current status of the iterative process, through
one or more state variables. The latter have to be chosen in order to allow
the creation in the most simple manner of the
algorithms functions, on one hand, and, on the other, to permit their updating
as easier as possible, with the view to go to the next iterative step.
